Koa was our 6.5-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever who passed away in late January 2026 after a year-long battle with oral melanoma. She was named after the Hawaiian word koa, meaning brave, bold, fearless, warrior, and hero. She carried that name with her in everything she did.
In honor of Koa, we are selling sweatshirts and t-shirts, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Lowcountry Lab Rescue.
Lowcountry Lab Rescue saves Labrador Retrievers from shelters across South Carolina who are at risk of euthanasia for a variety of reasons. The organization is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations to fund their rescue efforts and help save Labs in need.
