To care for your boardshorts and make them last longer while reducing environmental impact, follow these tips:

Minimize Washing: Wash less frequently to reduce microfiber plastic shedding, which pollutes oceans. Spot-treat stains and hang-dry instead.

Hand Wash: Avoid washing machines as they can damage the seams, water-repellency, and overall longevity of the shorts. Use fresh water and gentle soap for hand washing. If machine washing is necessary, use a side-load washer without a center agitator.

Air Dry: Never use a dryer as high heat can damage the shorts. Always hang them to air dry on a line or fence.
*Always ensure Velcro sides are connected before washing and storing. This will make sure laces don't get frayed and keep your shorts looking fresh.
